After update 3.1 my game has been crashing non-stop due to a memory access error

I cant play without crashing early into a match. I have 16GB of RAM and I've tried swapping ram slots but that didnt fix the issue. Any fix for this?

  • @SilentReaprr I had 4 crashes to desktop since the last update in about 3hrs total gameplay, I never bothered checking the crash dump file because I just got annoyed and stopped playing. It's super frustrating when you're having a real good game and suddenly BAM, back to desktop.
  • Yep crashes to desktop for me without errors.

    You might want to update windows because your build looks to be an old version

    Not sure why its saying I have an old version. I have the latest build installed version 19044.1415

  • Hey, @SilentReaprr @GrizzGolf @emerson1975 @RipGroove99  can you try a clean boot to see if any programs are messing with Battlefield 2042 and turn off any overlay programs, such as Discord or Nvidia experience.

     

    Can you add a Dxdiag so we can see what hardware and drivers you have?
