- @ProAssassin2003 I'm on XsX and felt also yesterday that aim assist was broken. But in a different way than what you had on PS5...
I added a bit of snap aim assist with the last patch to test, and didn't see any difference with it being turned off, so I just left it as it is and forgot about it.
Then yesterday I played with the latest patch and saw some crazy snap aim assist, very strong. Except that it snaps OUTSIDE the target and once again it's very difficult (even more than before) to follow a target with your aim stuck in the "aim assist bubble" behind the moving target.
Something definitively happened, and not for the best, when they changed the mouse input....
Once I removed the snap aim assist, things went back to "normal" i.e. no/random aim assist... - Gerhard_Koepke4 years agoRising Traveler
Came here to report on this as well.
Platform: PS5Sensitivity: 75 (same for ADS)
Soldier Aim Assist: 80
Soldier Aim Assist Zoom Snap: 80
ADS Field of View: onIt felt off immediately. Not sure if it is completely broken, though. When I increased Soldier Aim Assist and Soldier Aim Assist Zoom Snap to100 just to check, I felt it jerking my aim around quite a lot. Too much in fact. I hate it, but at least it seems to work.
But, man, it just keeps changing with almost every update. I feel like I need to re-learn my aim again and again. Please keep it consistent, DICE.
