Aim down sight (ADS) Issues after 2.1.1 Patch.

This is the same bug that has been in the game since release. It has never been fixed on the portal-mode remastered maps, despite DICE repeatedly stating it has been fixed. It can be recreated 100% of the time with the steps that have been provided dozens of times. This isn't "rare". Its baffling that this issue still persists.

True. It happens to me everytime. I have to remember not to use SFAR or Lis' rockets. Otherwise suicide and respawn...  Also I have noticed today, that scopes on M16 don't zoom propertly, when you look through them too fast after reloading for example.

Here’s an ADS bug for you…

soldier looks through rifle and NOT through the scope.

Complete misalignment of soldier eye and scope.

Also, the GOL rifle ads bug still exists.

I just had the isse when switching from Underbarrel Launcher to main Weapon WHILE the reload animation was halfway finished. After that I could no longer aim down sights. Hope this helps. 🙂

GOL witg 12x (10x?) scope.

If I ADS and switch to ankther weapon, holding left trigger, I get 1x zoom with 12x scope.

If I hot swap scopes and return to 12x, the zoom is still 1x.

If I swap to another scope, LOOK DOWN THE SCOPE and re-equip the 12x, the zoom works properly again.

Improvements:.
It is no longer happening on 2042 new map. You can also use the plus system and change to other attachments that can be turned on and off, such as other laser sights, to be able to ADS again. For attachments that cannot be turned on and off, sometimes the attachment is forced back on and cannot be fixed. No more need to redeploy, thank you!

Hey @EA_Atic .

I'd like to draw your attention to another issue that happened after last patch, and is very troublesome for me as a sniper.

I've always used the same key 👍 for Sprinting, Traversal sprint and Steady Scope. No incompatibility as I stand still when I aim down the scope.

Since the last patch however, the same key configuration no longer allows me to hold my breath/steady the scope. The sights move to and fro despite me holding Y and that has a very negative effect on my precision.

Plz look into the problem and plz make an effort not to make changes that disrupt year-long habits.

Summarize your bug After firing the T-84 from Lis's gadget the player will reload, and the last frames of the reload where she closes the rocket's end will be skipped and she will have the rocket in low ready and the ammo count shows 0/1 and the rocket icon does not appear to be recharging. If you switch to any other weapons it will not allow ADS or switching fire mode, and it will get stuck like this until you die or an indiscernible amount of time passes
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Keep firing the rocket and maybe press left click while the rocket is in flight/near impact?
What happens when the bug occurs? Can't ADS can't change firemode
What should be happening instead? normal gameplay?

Its not just an ADS issue, I have been having constant issues with the aiming just stops working completely. I can run, jump, fire and zoom but cannot point in any direction.

I use Lis and SFAR with under barrel attachment. Happens constantly and is getting to the point of just quit playing this broken *.
