A workaround that has been working for me is openning the task manager (ctrl + shift + esc) and entering the tab Details before launching. Then, right after the launch, I close the first BF2042 process that appears in the Details tab. A second process is issued a few seconds after the first (it seems like the EA app is really launching the game twice). You must be reasonably fast to close the first process before the second one detects it.
Dans mon cas je dois fermer EasyCheat qui demarre aussi 2 fois, je ne vois pas Battlefield dans le task manager, juste Easy Cheat.
