Any Known Fixes to the Game Crashing on Startup?

For context, after updating to the latest patch, when launching my game through the EA app or through Steam, the initial "Dark Creations" splash screen appears, the game attempts to launch in windowed mode, but the screen is black, then after a few seconds, the windowed screen closes and the EA app appears.

This issue seems to be separate from the validation issues Steam Users had (which I had initially, but was able to get that to stop). I have uninstalled/reinstalled the EA App, cleared the EA app cache manually and through the EA app itself, cleared my BF2042 settings/cache, uninstalled/reinstalled BF2042 and the game still literally will not start.

I'm hoping that someone has had this exact problem since the last patch and has found a solution. I'd really like to try out the new content as I have not played in a long time and it looks like the new content is a lot of fun. I'm likely at 7+ hours of trying to troubleshoot this issue over the last few days since the patch was released and I am just fed up with this whole experience and want to uninstall the game and be done with it. However, before doing that, I am hoping someone may know some nugget of info that might lead me down a path to get this problem resolved or know a working solution altogether.
