AT Mines Overly Nerfed, Nearly Useless

Not even all that sure what they COULD do to balance the mines. Best bet seems to really be just find craftier spots that they may not expect, or just pop the mines directly on points that vehicles would wanna backcap so you can get the cheeky fire and forget kill.

As Chris_Hawkner​ said, mines are pretty tricky to balance. Too hidden and people complain that they are unfair as they can't be seen, but too visible and they lose a lot of their effectiveness. All I can really think to suggest right now is to try being a bit more creative with them, such as sneaking up on a vehicle, planting them, and baiting them to move over them. I think it also still works to use them offensively, where you can throw them at a vehicle, but it's been a while since I've used them, so that might be out of date.  

Realistically, sneaking up on vehicles is the only consistent way to get kills now.  But I think we can agree that that isn't really the intended use of AT mines lol.  I would just like to be able to place mines somewhere and forget about them, but I know the likelihood of them being spotted is so great.  Like I mentioned before, there's no way to know if the mines you placed are active or not by looking at the map unless you're near them which is another frustrating element to using the mines.

Yeah I agree, I just can't think of a different or better way of balancing them.
