Hi, I just installed BF 2024 on my PC. I launched it from the EA app and it starts and says "Connecting to online services" but after several seconds it says "unable to load persistence data error code 15:xxxxxxx :-7A" There is no in game settings or exit options showing, so I have to use task manager to shutdown the game. Battlefield 1 runs fine from the EA app.
I tried restarting both router and PC. I tried changing DNS options. Nothing has worked.
Windows 11
Ryzen 5 5600
AMD RX6600
16GB RAM
Any help would be appreciated

FYI,
I just installed the game and kept getting the "Unable to load persistence data" error. My home network is on AT&T. My phone is on T-Mobile. I used my phone as a hotspot and the game connected and I was able to join a server and could probably have played some, but I couldn't find where they show the latency now so I quit. As a test while in game, I turned off cross play then tried connecting with AT&T again. Persistence error again.
It may in fact be something with AT&T.
I think EA should be the one to contact AT&T about this.
EDIT: To anyone using your phone as a hotspot, be warned, it will eat your data fast. I played for about 2 hours on hotspot and it ate about 470MB of my phone data.

Been an issue for over a month now and still no solution or fix? Shame EA is a small indie company that doesn't have the resources to fix their servers ☹️

THIS IS 100% AN ATT/EA ISSUE
unfortunately I have not found a workaround to play
hopefully, someone sees this and is able to resolve this quickly.

@craigslist373 Elsewhere on this thread others had this problem with Spectrum, and some reported the issue outside the US. Not sure it's an ISP issue.

I am having the same issue. Done a ton of research. Tried all the recommended EA fixes and some others on reddit. Tried using a vpn, changing DNS settings to Google and 1.1.1.1. Tried port forwarding. reinstalled, reset cache, been like this for 36 hours plus. Suggestions seem to lead me to it being an ISP issue. I'm on ATT Fiber in midwest. anyone else?

@TRDBRGLR69 Had an ATT rep do everything they could from their end and it resolved nothing. So my final stance is that it's EA's problem somewhere.

Well, it finally connected with my AT&T service. I played about 4 hours straight without issue. But I assume I'm going to keep having initial connection issues until they figure out what's going on.

I just reformatted my PC, loaded the game and still have the same issue. I then connected my PC directly to AT&T's gateway to bypass my infrastructure and had the same error. I then decided to load my VPN client on my PC and I'm able to make a connection and the game works. The issue appears to be AT&T in my case.
