Audio Issues: Cracking, Popping and dropouts

I am also having the same issue, only on bf2042 and i recently just got the game, running a Focusrite Scarlett Solo Gen 3, 5950x, dark hero viii, rtx 3080 ftw3, shure sm7b, dt-770. Ive tried 48000 Hz ive tried 44100 Hz, higher buffer size, lower buffer size, seemingly nothing has worked and im past 2 hours on steam for a refund.

Very odd if buffer changes aren't working for you... so far everyone with this issue that has tried has had that work as workaround. If you're messing with sample rates too, make sure they match in your Windows devices too. For example if you change it to 48,000 in Focusrite settings, also go into your Windows sound control panel and double check that the main output of the scarlett in the properties in there is also set to 48,000. I have had good luck running my 18i8 Gen 2 at 256 buffer size. No issues at all with that for me. Also when changing buffer size you don't have to reboot, but will have to restart programs. So for me when I change I will exit the game, exit discord etc, change buffer, then start the programs I want and the game again after.
