Hiya...Sorry !!!
Ya did flash bios to the latest bios version, cause ya use an intel i9 14th gen cpu <- with volt, wattage, amp and temp issues.
I also see a Razer Orbweaver Chroma <- this type of product did cause issues in the past with BF2042, disconnect it , reboot system and test without this product the bf2042 game.
Sometimes there can be an issues with multiple monitors connected to your system, cause of resoltuion and Mhz settings, cause the GPU driver and windows issues ! <-- test game with minimal hardware connected (also disconet usb drive).
Update us please.
Cheers
ps a cleanboot to check if any other software causing some issues , can help to:
reboot pc by a clean boot:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/how-to-perform-a-clean-boot-in-windows-da2f9573-6eec-00ad-2f8a-a97a1807f3dd
Hide all Microsoft services, DISABLE (uncheck) ALL other processes, apps and services !
I suggest doing a clean boot first to isolate and identify the application that is causing the issue.
A “clean boot” starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and startup programs so that you can determine whether a background program is interfering with your game or program.
- In the search box on the taskbar, type msconfig and select System Configuration from the results.
- On the Services tab of System Configuration, select Hide all Microsoft services, and then select Disable all.
- On the Startup tab of System Configuration, select Open Task Manager.
- Under Startup in Task Manager, for each startup item, select the item and then select Disable.
- Close Task Manager.
- On the Startup tab of System Configuration, select OK. When you restart the computer, it's in a clean boot environment.
Ps dont deactivate ea app background process and the EA AC process, else game will not launch at all.

Hiya Rokeco...Happy new year...Sorry for the delay…!
So did the stuff you suggested, Heavy clean boot as some apps would auto start-up in App settings switched them off too....Everything was switched of except W11 stuff…Nothing made a difference…No luck.
However, don’t normally play 64 players but had a go on 64 player Team Death Match Chaos and noticed a very odd thing....
So, all the games at the end pop back to main game search in all modes…. Except one!!!
64 player Team Death Match Chaos, which is a fairly new mode, this mode works perfectly, it ends and it links to the next match perfectly!.....works just the game should. Surely, if one mode works it should all work.
I feel, I think, it must be something wrong in the game system as one of the modes works perfectly.
The only thing I have not tried is a reload of the game…
If you think this may help please let me know if there is a clean uninstall, and I assume my game saves etc are safe on EA severs?
I really do not think its the PC....Nothing has changed in nearly 1.5 years except for updates etc. The game has been running fine. With the three screens too! Sometimes using AMD Eyefinity (all screens as one)… for the helicopters, very cool !! which also worked …. Please let me know your thoughts
Many thanks
Peg.

@Pega5u5 Good NewYear.
Delete BF2042 cache:
C:\users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Local\BattlefieldGameData.kin-release.Win32
Delete all content in this folder.
Move the file PROFSAVE_profile to a other location (ya can find file here):
C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\Documents\Battlefield 2042\settings
Then do a repair/verify game files, then test if game works.
Update us please !
CheersPS most settings and score is saved at DICE/EA cloud !

Hiya... see answers on your txt in bold..
Delete BF2042 cache:
C:\users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Local\BattlefieldGameData.kin-release.Win32
Delete all content in this folder.Done to both folders - one cache in each.
Move the file PROFSAVE_profile to a other location (ya can find file here):
C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\Documents\Battlefield 2042\settingsThere was nothing in this folder – no Battlefield 2042\settings folder…
Did a search for it and found them in C:\Users\theop\OneDrive\Documents\Battlefield 2042… Also in this folder there is Crash Dump and screenshots. Not sure why there are there...
Then do a repair/verify game files, then test if game works.I stopped there... did not delete anything in OneDrive as I was not sure if that was the thing to do as
they were in another folder... Let me know.
Thanks Theo
