Hello everyone id just like to let it be known performance on series x is actually very poor. I can run portal perfectly fine but when it comes to all out warfare it's very iffy. I'm constantly dropping fps and rubber banding.
It's really disappointing to see how poorly optimized it is on series x. I've even updated to the latest version of xbox and don't really see an improvement. I really do hope dice does something about the performance.

Some maps like manifest are literally unplayable, fps is usually in the 20s on that map. Kaleidoscope is also unplayable on Breakthrough. I really hope EA can do something about this, it completely ruins the game for me.

What happens when the bug occurs? Fps drops heavily and sometimes game crashes, even my console will crash sometimes.
What should be happening instead? Smooth 60fps

@Mackiedumb55Yup. Like I stated in other threads, my display looks like a slide show at times with massive FPS drops that dip to single digits. The system update did fix the hard crashes for me, but they seriously need to fix this next as it’s literally unplayable many times.
I had 2 complete shut downs yesterday but fingers crossed none today. But ya on breakthrough it's just terrible. Also Loadout bug and broken servers are sooo annoying

Microsoft released a firmware patch for the Xbox Series S|X a few days ago. Can you check if you are running this patch on your console or if you still needs to update?
Press the Xbox button to open the guide and select Profile & system (your account icon) > Settings . Select System > Updates & downloads > Update console.
Yes I can confirm I am on the latest version of xbox and am still getting bad fps dips. Usually on breakthrough at certain points in the game my fps dips heavily.
The update xbox put out did help my performance a bit but like I said I still get big fps drops at times.
Have continued playing and testing and still having fps drops in breakthrough. They do happen a little less often after the update but not completely. Its only on breakthrough and at certain times in the match. For example on hourglass during the 2nd set of objectives In-between B1 and B2 I always get massive fps drops. That area is sometimes unplayable and I have to avoid it completely. Also breakthrough on Manifest has serious fps issues at the ship objectives, after that the fps will improve.
I am fine in portal and conquest though, breakthrough is the serious problem.

Same boat the update didn't do anything for me I still get massive frame drops, complete freezes for like 5-10 seconds and crashing. This ONLY happens in breakthrough as Conquest and all the portal stuff I have played is fine.
Yep same here the performance is very poor on breakthrough. Also I just had a complete shutdown occur. They said that would be fixed with the update but that has also failed.
Xbox series x is still having complete shutdowns even after the update!!!!!
Community ManagerI am having both! Poor performance and I have had my console shut down. Like I said breakthrough is very bad on performance and constantly having lag spikes. Even after the update I get terrible lag and have console shutdowns.
The fixes you have tried to implement have failed. I don't want to be rude to you but this is completely unacceptable. I paid 90$ and I can't even play the full game.
Terrible performance on series x, this needs to be addressed immediately!!!!! If EA did any play testing they would have known series x is poorly optimized.
So to recap the updates xbox pushed did absolutely nothing. I still have poor performance and complete console shutdowns
