Battlefield 2024 stuck on preparing and cannot download it

Hello, I have a problem with Battlefield 2042.

I pre-ordered the game and I haven't played it until now. I changed my gaming PC and wanted to download Battlefield 2042.

The problem is that every time I try to download it it says preparing and eventually i get prompted with a download error.

I tried a lot of things including:

- Clearing cache

- Running EA App as administrator

- Reinstalling EA App

- I even went as far as deleting cache and temporary files from windows

- enabled background downloads ( I've seen that some people made Sims 4 work like this)

I searched the web for people having the same problem and I've seen a lot of blogs saying that they experience the same issue and I tried whatever I found on the internet and still didn't work.

I've tried so many different things and I just want it to work but it doesn't want to.

Do you have any idea if there even is a solution to this problem?
