    @simomorte You cannot crossplay the PS5 version with the PS4 version, make sure you are running the PS4 version of the game and try and play with him, see if that works for you.

same issue here, i'm o, ps5 and my friend on xbox series X; we don't exist in game.

@wezze_D You can try to join the same Portal game and see each other on played with list then try to add friends that way. But as I stated if neither of you have linked your Xblive or PSN to an Origin account someone just may not see the invitation even though you both sent one.
