Hi,
Is anything actually happening with this?
Gimping my 6800XT from 2.5Ghz to 1.7Ghz is the only way I can get 2042 to run at all without crashing within minutes, but it's a TERRIBLE solution.
there has to be something after 7 months of struggling.
There's nothing at all unusual going on with CPU or GPU utilization when it crashes, but it happens 100% of the time within seconds to minutes of starting a match.
No temp issues and no other game does this. but 2042 does it EVERY time.
restricting GPU maximum clock to 75%; stops it crashing.
Bumping up to 80% it starts to crash again.
