In that case the first thing I'd double check is, since there are two versions of the game on console, that everyone on PS5 and Xbox Series are using the PS5/Xbox Series version and not the last gen one.
It turns out one of my friends was on the wrong version and the other PlayStation members just uninstalled and gave up on the game all together. Thank you for trying to help us out.

i have same problem. all my friendlist dissapeard nd i cant connect with my friend from xboxs , im ps5. we have played for the last 7 days everyday and unfortunately today, we cany add each other to the game either group. we cans till play seperately online but not together. both of us having full subscription on console to play online plus ea membership . please help
