Battlefield 2042 cuts microphone input

I've been having this issues since last month. While playing the game stutters for half a second and suddenly my microphone stops working on Discord. Tried other voice chat apps and all had the same issue. This happens only with BF2042. I've already verified the game files and even reinstalled it. Is there something I can do apart from a clean Windows install?
