Battlefield 2042 doesn't launch (Steam and EA)

    The problem was in the КриптоПро (Crypto Pro) Application which is used for digital signature encryption. I have no idea how it is related, but right after deinstallation and reboot i was able to launch the game instantly. It is also weird, because Crypto Pro was installed alongside with battlefield almost a year without any changes to crypto Pro or battlefield configuration. Anyway, maybe this will help someone. What do you mean by "it didn't work"? You click on the game icon in your Steam library and no splash screen, etc. shows up?

I see EA screen loading, then splash screen, then EA application is opened and closed in the next moment. Nothing else happens.

    "EA screen loading" - What screen? The EA app? a splash screen?

    Below is the first thing (a splash screen) that shows up when I click on the game icon on my desktop.

      My reply is always deleted for some reason. I see the splash screen you sent and then EADesktop screen with available games for a second. After that nothing happens.

      If it is important - battlefield V works launches through EA App without any problem

        You purchased BFV thru Steam also?

        When you say "used to be launched with steam normally" - About how long were you able to successfully play the game before this issue?
