Battlefield 2042 (Epic Game Store)

Good morning.
As per title I own the version of Battlefield 2042 purchased on the Epic store.
Initially the game started regularly with the Epic launcher and the EA App.
After a few Battlefield updates I had to uninstall the EA app and put Origin.

Note that the EA app didn't display the game in my library while the Origin app did.

Since using Origin and Epic together, 9 times out of 10 the game won't start. I waste a lot of time closing and reopening apps until the game starts.

I would like to delete the Epic app altogether and just use Origin or even better EA Launcher.

Is there any way? And why does Battlefield not show up in EA's libreiria but only in Origin's?

    Sorry for the delay on this. @Lynnfield73,

    You cant move over to Origin only if you buy the game on Steam or Epic.

    Can you try a clean boot to see if any programs are messing with Battlefield 2042 and turn off any overlay programs, such as Discord or Nvidia experience.

     

    Can you add a Dxdiag so we can see what hardware and drivers you have?

    I had problems with my Origin launcher even though I bought my game on Steam.. it took some time, but at the end EA support somehow fixed the issue for me.

    @Lynnfield73 Oh sorry, didn't read your topic fully.

    If you bought your game copy on Epic Launcher, then it will still require you to have Origin launcher to be run in background, it's the same as for Steam;

    What could you do? only option would be to repurchase Battlefield 2042 on Origin. 😟👍

    Not sure about EA app, I think it's still in open beta..

    "9 times out of 10 the game won't start." Is your Origin Launcher always open? and from which launcher do you launch your game?
