@Rokebo73 thanks for the reply! I'm at work, so I can't provide you everything, here's some details of my system:
CPU: Ryzen 9 5900x
GPU: Radeon RX 6900 XT
RAM: 32GB Corsair Vengeance 3200
This happens randomly only for a few seconds at a time. It's like I'm playing in ultra slow motion for a moment. I though it might be the EasyAntiCheat issue that other people were talking about and I haven't ruled that out 100%, but I'm not sure. I was getting an error code every 5 minutes in my event viewer and I found that it was linked to EasyAntiCheat, but what I experience doesn't seem to happen every 5 minutes. It seems to happen at random times. I thought that it was happening during graphically intensive moments, which it does, but it also happens when there's clearly nothing graphically intense going on.
I've tried the User.cfg file, but that didn't seem to have much of an impact. My system far more capable than others that are not having any problems. I've tried all kinds of different suggestions from YouTube that recommend changing settings. I've looked up and tried suggestions for AMD Adrenaline settings for BF2042. I know there are several other things I tried that I can't think of right now.
Unfortunately, I think this is something on the EA end and they don't know how to fix it. There are just way too many people on both PC and console complaining about these types of issues and they don't seem to be getting resolved. Anyway, I just don't know what else to do. This is the only game that gives me issues. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
