Battlefield 2042 Extreme Lag on servers

I have redownloaded BF2042 over 5 times. I have done all the hot fixes and side fixes people have posted. I have recently gotten a new router and new modem. I have updated my hardware before the laun...

@DarnitJoe Its not you. This started after they did something to the servers on 2/8/22. It does not seem to affect everyone, but its consistent with me and my PC is damn near as fast as you can build these days along with a 100Mb internet connection.

        I had a 4790k which I overclocked. It met the minimum requirements but at the end of the day it wasn't powerful enough to run it without extreme lag, sure I could play but it wasn't pleasant.

        I upgraded to a 12700k, overclocked that and it now runs super smooth on low settings with a gtx1080oc.

        In console type perfoverlay.drawfps true

        I bet your cpu is in red.. not enough processing power to run it smooth I'm afraid.
