Battlefield 2042 graphic artifacts

I am getting weird artifacts in the game. It is almost like playing Halo or Destiny 🙂 Specs: ROG Z790 Maximus Extreme i9 13900K ROG Strix 4090 OC ROG Thor 1200w 32GB DDR5 RAM Windows 11 Pro ...

    @EA_Leeuw No, these artifacts were only in Battlefield 2042. The rest of the games had crashes/freezes.

    Afterall every possible troubleshooting suggestion, I replaced the CPU. Apparently it was a faulty 13900k. Everything works now.

@iElessar do you run anything with an overlay on ? like steam or discord? I used to get UI glitches when I had discord overlay on (so you can message people in game) turned them off and I stopped seeing it, maybe a bug or something with 2042 doesn't like.

    @L3tH4l3rR0r I had EA and Discord overlay settings on, but never used them.
    So I just turned them off now, I'll see what happens and update you.

    @EA_Leeuw Nothing suggested in that thread works. I can no longer launch the game. It crashes on loading.

    Hey @iElessar,

    Have you checked your Windows Event Viewer to see if you can spot something that can cause the crash?

    @EA_Leeuw No, nothing unusual. I even tried swapping a brand new motherboard, complete wipe.

    Nothing works.

    @iElessar, that's very weird... And is BF2042 the only game that is causing this?

    @EA_Leeuw Other games have issues as well; Hogwarts Legacy, CODMW2, Cyberpunk.

    @iElessar, oh really...?! So you don't only see these weird green artefacts in BF2042, but in other games as well?! Hmm. Have you checked with Nvidia Support already what these artefacts could be, by any chance?
