Every time I launch BF 2042 from steam where I own the game it. The EA app gives me this error message: "We've noticed your computer is currently offline. To activate your game on this computer using your EA Account, you'll need to connect to the internet. " I am not sure what to do nothing seems to fix this issue. I own the game and I am connected to the internet. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Was hoping to play some more battlefield leading up to the BF 6 release. I have added a screenshot of what the error message looks like after I launch the game.

UpdateProblem resolved after disabling Covenant Eyes (security software) which was blocking EA networks.The user is finally able to play the game after uninstalling it.Cheer, Steeve

I don't have this program installed... and I've tried the previous solutions... but it still doesn't work. Are there other programs that could be causing problems?

Update
Problem resolved after disabling Covenant Eyes (security software) which was blocking EA networks.
The user is finally able to play the game after uninstalling it.

As a test I got Microsoft pc game pass and downloaded battlefield 2042 through the xbox app on pc since pc game pass comes with EA play. I still got the same error message when I tried to launch: "We've noticed your computer is currently offline. To activate your game on this computer using your EA account, you'll need to connect to the internet."
It seems like the EA app is just broken at this point..? I thought it might have been a steam connection issue but the same error on a totally different storefront points to it being an EA issue potentially.

Even though I uninstalled with Revo uninstaller and deleted all the EA app files when I go to download the EA app again it says that It is already installed on my pc. I literally just uninstalled it though.
