BF 2042 Conquest only certain maps working
Looks like I'm having the same issue a lot of other folks are having. I'm on PC and when I try joining Conquest only certain maps work for me. If I try to play Reclaimed or Valpairiso I get the map loading music but it goes black after 5 seconds it kicks me back to the lobby. In the beginning I got an error code and the load music would keep playing even though I was back in the lobby. Now I don't even get an error code anymore, it just boots me back to lobby as if nothing happened. It's been very frustrating.

Troubleshooting already performed: Steam file verification completed; 2 files were reacquired. BF2042-specific EA Javelin AntiCheat was uninstalled and reinstalled. BF2042 cache was cleared. BF2042 settings/PROFSAVE were regenerated. EA App cache was cleared. Tested both DX11 and DX12. Tested launching through Steam, EA App, and directly through the executable. Windows update KB5124010 was removed and the crash still occurred. NVIDIA graphics driver was clean-installed previously using DDU. No overclock or XMP is enabled. Above was generated using ChatGPT. I have been using it for well over 12 hours to try and fix this issue with no luck and it sent me here to the forums. WHen I try to load battlefield 2042, it loads a green bar on the splash screen, but after some minutes, I get the following error. There is not enough players on Conquest at times. It asks 16 and doesn’t adjust when only 12 or so players are on and waiting. Hazard Zone is never played mode because of 24 or 28 players were required to start. This game still being sold so it needs to be adjusted for the newer expectation of amount of player. I just saw updates to 2042 for season 4 and Wake Island for BF6 so updates are still possible. Please do something so we can play what we purchased. Thank youDamaged Datas
Hi, I downloaded a update that was 384bytes big. not megabaytes. Maybe yall had it. when i started Bf2042 it said my Datas wasnt readable and damaged. i could go into game but my saves were gone. so it showed up like i played it the first time. hope somebody got the same problem fixed and could help :) (Im german so the Screen is in german)
Dice!!! separate 128 and 64 player mode !!!! (Like this for EA attention)
Please consider separating the 64-player and 128-player Conquest playlists again in Battlefield 2042. Ever since the playlists were merged, many players have lost the ability to consistently play the experience they actually enjoy. Some players prefer the large-scale chaos and epic battles of 128 players, while others prefer the more tactical and focused gameplay of 64 players. Both experiences have their own unique identity, and forcing them into a single playlist reduces player choice and overall enjoyment. Battlefield has always been about offering different ways to play, and giving players the freedom to choose between 64 and 128-player modes would greatly improve the experience. With Battlefield 6 on the horizon, please don't forget the dedicated Battlefield 2042 community that still actively plays and supports the game. Bringing back separate playlists for 64 and 128 players would be a highly appreciated quality-of-life change. Thank you, DICE, for continuing to support Battlefield 2042.
