Every time I launch BF 2042 from steam where I own the game it. The EA app gives me this error message: "We've noticed your computer is currently offline. To activate your game on this computer using your EA Account, you'll need to connect to the internet. " I am not sure what to do nothing seems to fix this issue. I own the game and I am connected to the internet. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Was hoping to play some more battlefield leading up to the BF 6 release. I have added a screenshot of what the error message looks like after I launch the game.SolvedCan't Connect to BF2042 – Ban Removed (Error EC:10901 / EC:10608)
Hi EA team and community, I’m hoping someone can help or clarify what’s going on. I was previously banned from Battlefield 2042, but that penalty has since been removed and the case is now marked as closed. However, when I try to launch the game, I still can’t connect — I consistently get error codes EC:10901 and EC:10608, and sometimes a message that says “your account is banned.” This has been happening for over a week now. I’ve tried: Restarting my PC and router Clearing cache Reinstalling the game Logging in from different devices Nothing has worked. The ban is lifted, so I don’t understand why I still can't access the game. On top of that, I’ve spent hours trying to find a way to contact EA Support or the Terms of Service team again, but there’s no way to open a new case. Every time I submit through the webform, I just get a message saying “Thanks for submitting your issue. Choose an option for more help,” with no confirmation email, no case ID, and no actual contact or resolution options — just self-help articles. I’m completely stuck here. I just want to get back into the game and earn those precious Battlefield 6 skins before it's too late. Can anyone point me in the right direction or escalate this to someone who can actually look into it? Thanks, BowWasTaken[FIXED] Battlefield 6 Save & Settings Issue — Windows Security Blocking Solved!
If your Battlefield 6 keeps resetting settings or won’t save progress, it could be Windows Security silently blocking the game’s files. What happened: Windows Security didn’t show any pop-ups until I launched the game. Loading the campaign triggered the alert, and that’s when I realized it was blocking access to save and config files — the game literally couldn’t touch its own files. How I fixed it: 1. Open Windows Security → Virus & threat protection → Protection history. 2. Look for any blocked Battlefield 6 files and click Allow on device. 3. To stop it from happening again, go to Manage settings → Add or remove exclusions. 4. Add your Battlefield 6 install folder as an exclusion (for example: C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 6). After doing this, all game settings and save files worked perfectly. No more resets — it was just Windows Security silently blocking access. **Note:** Search your PC and make sure the following files exist and are not being blocked: * `PROFSAVE` * `PROSAVE_profile` * `steam_autocloud.vdf` These files are usually located in: C:\Users\<YourName>\Documents\Battlefield 6\settings If any of these files are missing, Battlefield 6 may not be able to save or load your progress correctly. These files are required for Battlefield 6 to properly save your settings and progress. Also verify that **Windows Virus & Threat Protection** (especially **Real-time protection**) isn’t blocking or quarantining them — this can silently prevent the game from writing or updating your save data. ***Steps to Add Full Control for Battlefield 6 Settings Folder*** (This has also helped some users to resolve issue with save file) Navigate to the folder: Open File Explorer and go to: C:\Users\<YourName>\Documents\Battlefield 6 (or wherever your Battlefield 6 folder is located) Open Properties: Right-click the Battlefield 6 folder → select Properties. Open Security Settings: Click the Security tab at the top. Edit Permissions: Click Edit… to change permissions. Select Your User: In the list under “Group or user names,” select your Windows user account. If your user isn’t listed, click Add…, type your username, and click Check Names → OK. Grant Full Control: Under “Permissions for [YourUser],” check Full control → click Apply → OK. Propagate Permissions: When prompted, choose Apply changes to this folder, subfolders, and files → click OK. Close Properties: Click OK to close all dialogs.Critical Performance Issues: Shader Stuttering & EA App RAM Use
Error/Bug - This software cannot be used at the same time as the game
Hello, I'm playing Battlefield 2042 on PC for quite some time without any issue. Last night I have installed the game on my PS5 and played a bit, all was good - but now when I want to play the game on my PC, I face this error (see attached). What should I do to fix this? Now I can play the game only on my PS5 but not on my PC. Thank you!SolvedVirtual gamepad support
i want to know if anybody has figured out a clean solution for a playstation controller on pc? i just wanna play battlefield but i keep getting this error, ive been seeing things that virtual gamepad support is banned but i just need to know before i waste 70 dollars buying it on steam, because if i cant use it now im not dropping 70 not being able to use it, i would take a screenshot of bf6 and post it there but i have not nor will not buy it until they fix ps controller support issues. (yes ive tried steam input and directly using a cord, the cord misidentifies my controller as an xbox controller and button inputs are all overand steam input simply does nothing and ive tried adding both 2042 and ea play in non steam games with no success)BF2042 & BF4 license missing
Good evening, I was setting up my OBS for the morning and went in to load BF2042. However, when I attempted to load in I was greeted with a message stating that I did not have the license for the product. This also occurred on my BF4, when i looked at my EA app both games were missing from my Library. However they are on my Desktop and all of their corresponding files are where they are supposed to be. The only thing that shows up in my Library is BF6 and the last know update for any of my BF games outside of the recent download for BF6 was for BF2042 on September 9th. Can anyone please point me in the direction of where, how, or who can fix/address this situation for me
