Battlefield 2042 launch issue
Hello guys, i've recently bought bf2042 on steam and i can't launch it, the anticheat splash window pops out and then it just redirects me to EA App and nothing more happens. I contacted support but they were useless asf at this point idk what to do. if somebody has a possible fix i would be very thankful!
@zDiiViiNe I see different errors in youre dxdiag.
I see an error with virtual machine (setup/ip/ect ect)
Also an EA AC error.
There are more errors.
First install/repair vc_redist.x86 and vc_redist.x64 , ya find it at (this location can be different then yours, look for bf2042 install location):
C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2042\__Installer\vc\vc2015\redist
Delete all files and folders from EA AC.
Delete those folders and files:
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\EA
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\EAAntiCheat.Installer.Tool
C:\ProgramData\eaanticheat
C:\Program Files\EA
After deleting those folders (and all content) reboot system.
Now do this:
Press Windows key + 'R' ,typ CMD
Press and hold down CTRL + SHIFT and press ENTER.
When User Account Control shows up, click Yes.
Use the following command lines, pressing Enter after each
(make sure you wait till each of the commands is executed properly):
sfc /scannow
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth.
Now reboot your system again, then start BF2042.
It will install/download/update EA AC.
Test game and update us cheers
Start BF2042 , wait for EA AC install.ps make sure ya disconnected the TOSHIBA External USB 3.0 USB Device before ya boot windows.
