To make sure its not at your location an issue , could replace cable with a new and better cable,
To make sure input lag isnt caused by keyboard, mouse (dont connect controller), use other mouse and/or keyboard , just to make sure!
- NightHawkk19973 years agoNew Veteran@Rokebo73 So it’s my second set of keyboard and mouse and also my second controller. I have tried 4 different cables at different lengths also. Same issues regardless. But my network does seem fine.

AAAAHHH no active fiber yet ? Next week ??? then better wait till fiber is active and test again. hahahha you make it all a bit confusing hahahha
Cheers - NightHawkk19973 years agoNew Veteran@Rokebo73 No we have 2 types of fibre in the uk
I used to have 1440p monitor and had same issue: this tv is low latency as well with gsync
1 - fibre to the cabinet then copper to property . This is my current set up
2 - fibre to property which is what I am getting - Rokebo733 years agoSeasoned Ace@NightHawkk1997 ok and from cabinet to property is ADSL2 line? Phoneline cable rj11 connectors 🙂🙂
Very old phoneline in digged in the ground probarly, with a lot of nboise on it 🙂🙂 - Rokebo733 years agoSeasoned Ace@NightHawkk1997 then your speedd will aslo upgrade ? at your fibre ? download and upload ?
- NightHawkk19973 years agoNew Veteran
@Rokebo73Correct it will use a phone line using rj11 to the property as of now. Why would this only cause an issue in bf2042 though?
- NightHawkk19973 years agoNew Veteran@Rokebo73 My new fibre will be 500/500 directly to my property.

@NightHawkk1997i cant explain it technically for sure, but i think cause the noise , and the very small / thin adsl cable there is some signal lost during transfer. How far / distance is cabinet from property ?
- NightHawkk19973 years agoNew Veteran
@Rokebo73 it’s quite close to cabinet. And I assume this would create more issue on 128 player matches? Where as call of duty it’s smaller maps as well so no stutter
- Rokebo733 years agoSeasoned Ace@NightHawkk1997 what is quite close ? 100 meter , 500 meter , 1km or more ?
- NightHawkk19973 years agoNew Veteran@Rokebo73 I would say around 50-100m
- Rokebo733 years agoSeasoned Ace@NightHawkk1997 thats quite close indeed. but its adsl , so its probarly cable that ish years old, lot of noise at it, I did work for TELE2 many years ago, just when they get startup with thewir company. In that time it was adsl . adsl2 , adsl2+ , and if ya got a distance from cabinet was 1km or more, and cable was old , real old , then connection was bad. Lot of angry people when i worked at their callcenter hahahha
If fiber is active, you get 500 down , 500 up, stable, no dips, nothing less , nothing more.
In advantge from your new fiber, WELCOME TO THE NEW WORLD OF INTERNET , hahahhahaha CHEERS !!!! - NightHawkk19973 years agoNew Veteran@Rokebo73 Ye I am really looking forward to getting it to be honest. But my signal now is not bad! Even the engineers said it was good but maybe it can’t handles 128player?
- Rokebo733 years agoSeasoned Ace@NightHawkk1997 adsl line could get packets lost send/revieve and will be filled/corrected <-- stutter. They boost adsl, but if adsl is already not that ok , you only boost a not that ok connection.
No real advantage with boosting a "bad" signal ! - Rokebo733 years agoSeasoned Ace@NightHawkk1997 ps buy a new utp45 cat6 or cat7 cable, better isolated more copper wire to send more data.
Probarly required with your 500mb, get prepared fot it, start reading, get knowledge , make sure ya get the max !!!! - NightHawkk19973 years agoNew Veteran

feel free to update this topic, especially if ya got your fiber active 🙂 - Rokebo733 years agoSeasoned Ace@NightHawkk1997 cat6a MINIMAL, i personal would go for cat7.
- Rokebo733 years agoSeasoned Ace@NightHawkk1997 cat7 , why ? z690 got network ports from 2.5gb and 10gb ports , depends on z690 board. for a connection at home (homenetwork) you want to push (send/recieve) the max!!!!!!!
- Rokebo733 years agoSeasoned Ace
@EA_Leeuw hey man , got an little update for your troubleshooting script with micro stutters.
Some people are still connected with an ADSL connection, and thats not that stable and good, fast signal !
Also distance from cabinet to peoples property could be a issue with ADSL !!
ADSL is known for signal loses/noise and correction issues with packets that got lost ect ect ect.
I think ' some' stutter victims can get an answer for their issue !
Cheers. Hoop dat er mensen mee geholpen worden en een beter gevoel er van krijgen als probleem duidelijker is ! - 3 years ago
@Rokebo73I got 1Gb fiber connection with 0 packet loss.
I'm sorry to tell you but this issue in not on our end it's with the game/servers.
I bet you have the same problem too and you just dont notice it.
I see it happening on many youtubers videos as well (levelcap, jackfrags)Its harder to notice in videos, but I immediately feel it when it happens to me, it affects everything from moving to shooting to jumping just EVERYTHING feels like glue.
