Battlefield 2042 micro stuttering when running

Battlefield 2042 micro stuttering when running. This does not happen all of the time but at least 80%. This does not seem to be a performance or network issue on my end as i am getting 90-120fps with...

@EA_Atic Nothing on this issue in the new patch notes, can you please share any update on this?

    I genuinely do not think they are acknowledging our issue here and are going to fix it!

    Still got the stutter after update and worse than it’s ever been now.!!! @EA_Atic can you please update us!

    Yes, me too. 

    New patch and nothing is changed, mid way through the game TN start going up to 22 and game start to rubber band / stutter.

    @EA_Atic Please give us an update on this...

    @Max1boy I just did a full system reinstall as had enough of windows 11 bugs. Put windows 10 back on installed all latest drivers so fresh system. Installed battlefield. Still stuttered when TN could went over like 20. This is testimony now that the game is the issue. It’s the only game on my system. I also can’t download battlefield via EA app I have to use origin it’s crazy!

    @NightHawkk1997 I did exactly the same two weeks ago and installed windows 10.
    It didn't fix the rubber banding, the issue is without a doubt in the game.

    @Max1boy I accidentally installed that 22h update the other night on windows 11 and it ruined everything for all my games that’s why I am on windows 10 now 🤣

    We really need EA to respond to this forum

    I have had the same friggin problem. I posted an bug report on the EA App forum and it has been 20 hours now with two views and no response from EA. Just exactly what I expect from them.

    @KamiDOTexe I also opened a bug report a few weeks ago and got ignored as well.

    They just don't care...

     Been getting stuttering just recently, maybe last few weeks. Never had it before, even on 128 players. Now I get it on 8v8. Crazy. No torrents going, no chrome. Not sure if its the game or Nvidia driver updates.

    I don't think that Dice / EA has even had the decency to acknowledge this annoying micro stutter/hitching/ spiking frame times issue that this game is plagued with.

    They won't even add a server browser to the game.

    Old Dice is dead, the best devs have left. I don't think the future looks good for the Battlefield franchise. Sad but true.

     I stopped Onedrive from syncing My Documents folder. It was 1.1gb and that has so far stopped the stuttering. I've only played a few games since but it hasn't come back. Before it was happening on every match no matter the number of players. We'll see. Only became a problem the last few weeks.

    @Cannon-dale10 We don’t have one drive enabled for most of us! Wish that was the fix for us! 6 months ago that fixed it for more but since then and the updates it’s no longer a fix 😞

    @Straatford87 please can you help us out here and look into this. It’s been causing so many of us issues. We have tried everything and really need some help with it now. Thanks

    @NightHawkk1997 Yep...just had a read through of the upcoming patch notes too looking, I'm sure, for the same as you for a mention that they've sorted this issue. Nahhhhhh.. Nadda...nothing.
    I think this issue would possibly require a bit of a rework in the Frostbite engine and they either can't be bothered or are lacking the Frostbite 'Wizard' at the moment in Dice who would be able to sort this issue?
    This issue was introduced in the updated version of Frostbite ( v.4) that they used for BF2042.. The previous versions ran smooth in all the previous Battlefield games.

    @NightHawkk1997 Dice have tweeted that the engine is getting some more updates/ work done on it... However, they say that every time the engine is used for a new game so I don't think they'll cure it for this game.
    It'll possibly get corrected in the next version of the engine. JMHO.
    I could be wrong, in this case i would like to be wrong, but I've lost hope for this game.

    @raverill ye i know what youmean. what i dont get is that some people say they genuinely dont have this issue...
