Community ManagerCommunity Manager@EA_RtasI just tried this and when I attempted to open the EA app it stated that because the EA background services had been disabled it was preventing the app from starting. I then went back to system configurations to enable EA background services and restarted. After doing this I was able to start the EA app but then had an error saying "EA AntiCheat Service encountered an error. Please restart the game.: C:\Program Files\EA\AC\EAAntiCheat.GameService.exe (20) (1058)". After enabling the EA AntiCheat service again and restarting my computer, again, I'm still having the same issue launching the game. No errors, just get sent straight back to the EA app like i closed the game. Battlefield 2042 also had an update today that has neglected to fix the issue.
After all of it is said and done I tried the "I ran a clean boot but it made no difference. What do I do now?" solution as well but that didn't help either. There is no indication of why this could be happening; I don't have any 3rd party antivirus software or VPNs that could be conflicting with EA AntiCheat, I've run everything related to EA and BF2042 as an admin, I've run everything not as an admin. I feel like I've done everything to make this game work and nothing helps, it's ridiculous that this can even happen when the game is freshly installed.
