Battlefield 2042 poor performance issues

I have performance issues with Battlefield 2042 and the game is unplayable. The higher player count mode I choose the worse it gets. Even on the lowest player count mode - 16 v 16 players it is running with low fps and has frame drops on all LOW or OFF settings, although I meet the recommended requirements to run the game.

Noticed the "bug" in month September of year 2023.

My PC specs are:

Ryzen 7 2700x

GTX 1080

16 GB DDR4 @3000 Mhz

SSD

Win 10 PRO

All drivers are up to date and restarted the PC. Game is installed on SSD. I tried clearing the cache and restarting the PC. Tried to set the performance mode from Windows settings and also performance mode from Nvidia Control Panel. I enabled the DOCP setting from the BIOS and the RAM is working on 3000 Mhz. Tried to disable the rendering options from the hidden settings of the game, from \Documents\Battlefield 2042\settings\PROFSAVE_profile file and restarted the PC many times, then trying to play the game again. Tried overclocking the CPU via AMD Ryzen Master and restarting again.

Nothing of the above helped. Although I meet the recommended system requirements. I tried opening two cases with support and followed their suggestions. That also didn't help with the game performance.

Nothing seems to work at this point and its very frustrating.
