@LvL1Brook Hey man
Raise laptop, also use cooling pad and repaste.
Then software wise check out throttlestop, you can either disable turbo boost or undervolt your cpu
use amd fan control software to ramp up youre fans (higher rpm settings during gameing)
Make sure your laptop is not on a cushion, mattress our any kind of soft, flexible surface that might block the fans
It seems this type of laptop got probarly some paste issues and repaste could help ya much.
Cheers
ps in task manager end amd radeon software, would also reduce heat , i only do not know what i does with youre software, ya need to test this
The computer is 1.5 months old. So there can be no problem with the cooling and the fan speed really goes up to 5900 rpm in automatic mode. But I still don't understand. Even in games like Warzone which are more heavy, the CPU usage is seen as 70% maximum, why it goes up to 100% in BF is ridiculous.
- Rokebo7312 months agoSeasoned Ace@LvL1Brook Warzone is not that heavy 😉
Especially if ya at bf2042 in a 128p server.
There is much more going on in bf2042 then in this warzone 😉
Close all background tasks ya dont need and test again.
Cheers
ps check how many TOTAL processes ya got running and update us with it !- Rokebo7312 months agoSeasoned Ace@LvL1Brook HOLY MOLY !!!???
282 processes ? are ya very sure?
That is way to much, youre cpu is realy and i mean realy busy !
Use HWINFO64 in the background and check for temps + Mhz that youre cpu is using in "idle <-- 282 cant be idle !" and when ya run a game.
Also display each core seperate in taskmanager to check what cores are doing their "job".
Ya realy need to get less preocesses running ya got a laptop not a quantum computer 😉 🙂
cheers and keep us up to date !
