EA ANTICHEAT error (119)

Hi all,

I've been getting this error message since yesterday. Does anyone have a solution or has encountered this problem? I reinstalled my video card's graphics drivers, but nothing worked.

  • hi,

Problem solved The MSI Live Update 6 application is the cause of the problem. By uninstalling it and deleting the file, after restarting the PC, the game works again, and I no longer get this error message (119).

attached is the path of the file to be deleted : c:\windows\temp\atiflash\atillk64.sys

Thank you for your attention. 😎👍

I found a fix for mine, I'm using the latest drivers Adrenalin 25.5.1  I had to enable secure boot in the bios.
Looking in the event viewer, I was also getting EA anticheat error, amd driver timeout error and directx driver errors to.
it fixed all my problems and it seems to be working fine now, its been working good for 4 days now,
I cap my fps in MSI afterburner my fps flat lines on the graph in game.
    I had tried everything,
uninstalled drivers in safe mode with DDU, reinstalled driver,
    I clear/reset shader cache,
    Installed Any Pending Windows Updates,
I Disabled the Multi-Plane Overlay Using the Registry Editor,
I had Change and Set the Power Plan to Best Performance,
I Disabled Fast Startup, windows feature,
it was still crashing after that, I then enable secure boot in the bios and it worked, its not crashed since.

    go in to C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2042\EAAntiCheat
Right click EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe and run as administrator
in the top drop down box, select (installed) Battlefield 2042
    then select update,
    see if that helps.
