Yup ifantry conquest works as well. But tedious to grind those 80 ribbons...

This has been passed on to Dice by the Community Managers now, but i don't know if it'll be resolved before the event is over (hopefully it is).
However, in case it helps anyone, below is what I usually do to get all the ribbons quickly (normally it's ~6 matches for 80):
