    exactly, from what I've understood from my little research is
    that "recommended" old drives are jus out of date for windows, and the new one is just not fully finished/compatible to all hardware/software features.

    although it could be a completely different reason, that is my conclusion.

The least EA could do is put out an announcement that its on their end instead of telling us to clear cache,reinstall Origin, etc. if you search online you get more information about  their outage and connectivity issue. This would help the community in avoiding all the posts because the majority are the same issue. DX Diag attached

    they will never take the blame. (policy)
    all this generic answers are copy pasted, and the bureaucracy behind "doing something" is slow, tedious and indifferent.
