battlefield 2042 Windows defender has blocked some features of this app crash

Whenever I launch bf 2042 it loads normally until it gets to "Connecting to online services" and I get a "Windows defender has blocked some features of this app" popup where I can choose to allow it ...

    I fixed it by going into windows defender, inbound rules, locating battlefield 2042 with an X, clicking on properties and allowing the connection. 
    Although I have a new problem now, It loaded up perfectly and it calibrated my settings which it then promptly turned into a black screen and froze my entire pc, I'm losing my mind over this game, now I cant even get past the first loading screen without it completely freezing my pc.
