Battlefield 2042 Xbox Crashing or Shutting Down console

@EA_Atic  I’ve seen you active in posts in the past regarding EA games causing the Xbox Series X to crash. I also experience these issues. I’ve tried everything listed in all of the support posts and...

Since the update I have completely frozen up solid for a few minutes before getting returned to my Xbox main screen. On one crash it caused Xbox to reboot. So far 3 crashes and counting. This is on the Xbox One. Before the update? Crashes were rare.

@Red_Dragon_1954  Could you try to power cycle the console and see if that helps. 

 

How to power cycle: 

  1. Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.
  2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.
  3. Important Make sure that you wait at least 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.
  4. Plug the console power cable back in.
  5. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.
