They finally answered me. Two steps I Hadn't tried. not sure if one does the trick but delete the save game data locally for battlefield and also go into network advanced settings on the xbox and clear the alternate mac address. Boom, now I'm playing laggy battlefield with everyone else and all is well. Good luck to you.

This needs to be fixed asap 😡 people are spending 100$ on the game, and cant choose if they want to go against mouse & keyboard players, that has a massive advantage.... 🤦
And it baffles me, that this game doesnt have a 1440p 120hz mode for us with monitors that support 144hz, and that are on Xbox Series x. I would certainly imagine that the series x can handle this pretty well. And making a patch for this, does not take much effort. This much i know... So why is the no performance mode in the game ?
