BF 2042 Chat does not work
I came here to ask, why the ingame chat does not work... Now this is the third time I write this due to this forum not working as it should.
I have not had an ingame chat for monthes now. Why is that and how do I fix it?

Like other recent posts and comments on this issue in other threads. It’s what gets their attention. I know. Crazy
Chat is still not fixed in BF2042.
Sometimes it works but i get error code and sometimes nothing works.
In the begining it worked like a charm the updates broke it.Same thing is happening to me did you find a solution to this?
Have the same issue, typing does not work on every other map...
New map/game will sometimes fix the problem.
I still have this issue. Had it since December. Nothing I have read about will fix it
- @Leon_Maximus whatever it was, good to hear. Happy chatting. Be warned though, even some totally innocent words get censored with stars. You'll be able to see what you wrote but only stars come out the other end. So, don't be disappointed if you don't get a reply.
I was a bit surpriced today. The chat magicly seems to work now. I would love to know what it was? Cause it was nothing on my end.
H Will flick the chat window from invisable to visable. Still can't see any text/chat..
Does pushing the H key help?
I do have it set to all... and have since the day the chat was updated. It was even before that update I could not see any "text". I had the same a patch or two before that, then it came back and then disapeared again. Now, since a few monthes as I wrote can't chat with anyone.
