Hey @Borrietheblade,
I can see that you get the error message that EA app or Origin overlay has been disabled and to my knowledge, the EA Play discount will only be applied at checkout.
Could you re-enable Origin and/or EA app overlay, try to purchase something and check at checkout if the EA Play discount is being applied for you? Screenshots, with blurred out PII, would be helpful.
Thanks!
Good morning.
I'll try that this afternoon and I'll report back.
Thanks.

@Borrietheblade, awesome, thank you.Just jumped into the game and if I have Origin running, I can purchase the currency bundles but I do not get the EA play membership discount at checkout.
If I run the EA App, I still get the error in game if I click on any bundle.
I also did some troubleshooting and within each launcher, only Origin has BF 2042 coins. I searched "coins" in the search box for "games or add-ons" and I am able to purchase them through Origin launcher and get the EA play membership discount. However, the EA app does NOT have BF 2042 coins in the add ons section. It ONLY have Battlefield V coins for sale. EA Play discount does apply there as well.
So it seems that EA App is having issues when using in game purchase but not Origin but since I use Steam, the Play discount doesn't get applied through Steam. Only Origin and overlay app seem to be the way to get 2042 coins at the moment.

@Borrietheblade, thanks for testing!
So just to confirm:- You have EA Play via Steam and also play BF2042 via Steam (did you claim it via EA Play, or do you actually own the game, as in a standalone purchase?).
- When you have Origin overlay running, you can buy the 2042 BFC, but via Origin, you do not get the EA Play 10% discount applied to your 2042 BFC purchase.
- If you switch over to the EA app, you get an error when clicking on a 2042 BFC bundle (is this the "Origin in-game disabled" error message from your 1st screenshot?).
- If you manually search for 2042 BFC in Origin, you can find & buy them and you can see your EA Play 10% discount.
- If you manually search for 2042 BFC in the EA app, you can not find them (example images attached).

No I have EA Play through Xbox game pass ultimate. I bought the gold edition of 2042 via Steam.*When you have Origin overlay running, you can buy the 2042 BFC, but via Origin, you do not get the EA Play 10% discount applied to your 2042 BFC purchase.
Sort of. Yes I have origin overlay running and IN GAME I can buy BFC but at checkout which goes through Steam, does NOT apply the 10%.
*If you switch over to the EA app, you get an error when clicking on a 2042 BFC bundle (is this the "Origin in-game disabled" error message from your 1st screenshot?).
Yes that is correct.

Yes that is correct. The ONLY add on I see in the EA app is the year 1 pass + ultimate upgrade. Nothing more. Well this is as of yesterday. If there was an EA app update recently, it may be showing up now but I can't confirm it as I'm at work but I can check again on my lunch.
