Hi there,I have been playing bf 2042 for the past couple of days. I just got the notification for the update so I am trying to download it. But every time I press on update nothing happens. Its not downloading the update. I have more then enough room on my ssd's so that can not be the problem. Haven't had a single problem with the game until now. I can't play the game if it does not let me update it. Have tried restartin pc, logging out, restartin EA. nothing seems to work

Same here, I am using the EA Desktop App and the game won't update.

I'm having the same problem, and as a side note, when I checked my download queue it was showing all my "gold" upgrade and season pass things just sat there in the queue and wouldn't do anything when I selected download

Open up Origin and it will download the update.

Can confirm that this fixes the problem, so seems to be a EA beta specific issue. As per my other response all my add-ons are showing as downloaded in origin where as the the beta app it was in the queue

You have to use origin to update bf2042 i tried and it's working prefectly now

Indeed, open origins app instead of EA app.... EA app is very much in a beta phase, just like this game. 😉

Easy fix - click on "App recovery" in the menu bar. It will clear the Cache and boom it downloads 🙂
