BF2042 - crashes when new map loads on portal

Having some trouble - when a new map loads on a portal server it crashes. Going into a map fresh works fine, its when the round ends and new map loads it just freezes on the loading screen.  happens...

Thanks so much - was working before with no problems. Will do a full fresh install of the gfx driver using DDU

    Not really - seems to be the 128 player maps causing the issue.

    Intermittant. fresh load just hung on the loading screen.

    Played a round and it was fine, loaded a new map and it was fine. then crashed around 10 minutes the game

      Hi @TrashPanda-RioT, that's mostly because CPU cant handel the load.

        But i can load into maps and play them fine - its when a new map loads and i never had this issue with the beta or when it first came out (i preordered).

        It has to be a bug
