I know that it is normal that during the game I access the hard disk from time to time. What does not seem normal to me is reading non-stop, not stopping at any time. The question is, does the same thing happen to everyone?
GeForce RTX3090
AMD R9 5950X
32GB DDR4 3600
NVME SSD (a lot of free space)
Win11 Pro latest patch
Latest GeForce driver
I can play the game without too many glitches, but not my brother who has a way lower-end machine. But because he experienced constant stutters, lag spikes, and long load times, we checked what was wrong and it turned out that BOTH of our machines use the SSD like hell. In the performance monitor we can see that the Disk usage is exceptionally high compared to any other apps and games (including earlier Bfs).
The only difference here is that my computer can deal with it (as it's a rather decent one), but his machine struggles to simultaneously use the SSD and render the game.
The "funny" thing is, there's already a video on YT showing exactly the same issue on a rather similar computer. My brother's config:
Radeon RX580
Intel i7 4790K
16GB DDR3 1866
Samsung 870 Evo SATA SSD
Win 10 Pro
Latest Radeon driver
Both of us run the game from the Origin launcher and no other 3rdparty apps were running in the background, but the essentials only.
Here's the video about the issue: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UbiDCD45a3g

The game always reads data when you start the game. After that, yes it'll read data from the map and such, but most data is actually shader caching. Shader caching will NEVER stops, I swear it doesn't matter how many times you'll play a map it's always modifying shaders from the cache file.
