BF2042 CPU Running At 100% Constantly For No Reason

Everything typed below this was a KNOWN issue with the Closed AND Open BETA, and it is still here, with the Early Access to the Full Game. Game is maxing out my CPU at 100%, and my CPU ain't cheap. ...

    The Original issue was fixed, I'm closing this thread to stop it from being necroed.

    If you have any issues with Battlefield 2042 please make a new topic about your problems and what kind of steps you have tried to solve them.

@TTV_miniHAWKn00b I have the same issue with my 9700k being pegged at 100% which causes my 3080ti to never fully utilize itself. This causes major random stutters and frame drops.

@dredknot636 Same problem in 9700K + RTX2070 Super on anyone settings.

    I have the same setup and same issue. but it feels like heavy input lag.

    9700k

    30-40 fps

      You could have both or it might just be because the CPU is the bottleneck and everything else is just stacked up in cpu cycles behind the computations needed for keeping up with the GPU.

      Watching jackfrags last night his performance got worse as he streamed event though he has a pretty baller PC.

        @META4ORICAL Is 100% a memory leak my memory usage keeps increasing from 60 to 100%. Need to restart the game from 3 match in 3 matches...
