BF2042 crashed when connecting to the server at the loading screen

When I recently launched Battlefield 2042, it must have crashed when connecting to the server at the loading screen.
I've tried deleting the AC file and rolling back the AMD drivers, but it doesn't work.
Here is my device info and attached file is CrashDumps.

  • @Azunyaya Ya are running a laptop?
    Could you post dxdiag please.
What troubleshoot did ya do already at your system?

    Cheers
  • No, it's desktop. Dxdiag.txt is attached.

    What I did:

    Reboot.

    Reinstall ea app.

Roll back AMD driver from 24.9.1(lastest) to 24.2.1 or 24.4.1.

    Delete anticheat files.

Using steam checking the integrity of game files.

I can launch BTF1 without it crashing, but once I join a battle or story mode, it crashes.

I can't customize soldiers either, and I guess it crashes once it needs to load 3D models.

@Azunyaya  Your dxdiag does how errors with RADEON and ATI software.
This ati software for the ATI Hotkey feature.
And this radeon software for your GPU ? (or other tools/hardware thats connected -> fans , pump , rgb ect ect?).

    Cheers

PS some software got a special uninstall tool (check manufacture website) to uninstall their software.
Pre download latest GPU drivers and chipset drivers (also from manufacture website) before ya use this uninstall tool.

  • I used amdcleanuputility.exe to completely uninstall RADEON related software, but I don't know if ATI software is related to it.
Then I downloaded and installed the latest graphics driver from AMD again, without installing RADEON software. But it still didn't work.
Attached is the dxdiag after I did this series of operations.

    @Azunyaya  Hey man
In the search bar, type cmd.
Right-click on cmd.exe and select Run as Administrator.
Type SFC /scannow and press the Enter key.
Wait till its done , will need a few seconds/minutes, depends on system.
After SFC /SCANNOW is done,  ya should reboot system

Re-enter Command Prompt as Administrator and run these:
    dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup
    dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth
    dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

    Test game and update us.
I also see a lot of errors are fixed in dxdiag2 and not being shown anymore.

    Cheers

  • ☹️

I think I found the problem.
I checked the Windows system error log and found that there were two disk errors every time I started the game. So I checked the SSD where the game was installed and found that there were many bad sectors. I thought I should prepare to back up the data and replace the SSD.

Sorry for the trouble I caused.
