BF2042 crashing and restarts pc

Hi guys

Not playing BF2042 for a while, I started playing and enjoying the game again! But... now the game freezes after 10-15 min of gaming. The game just freezes and then turns into somekind of black screen (see attached photo) and then boots my pc. It didn't happend before.. so I don't know if any update did this... I haven't changed anything on my pc. I only play CS and BF and don't use my PC for anything other.... so.. sadly.. now I can't play. Not fun with crashes every 10 min of play.!

I have tried repairing the game and uninstall it a few times....

GPU and Windows are fully updated

PC specs:

Asus Z590-P Prime
i5-11600K
Kingston HyperX Fury 16GB DDR4-3200
Samsung 980 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD
Asus GeForce® RTX 3070 Ti 8GB TUF
Corsair TX650M 650W 80+ Gold

Win 10

    Clean boot was what found the problem for me, turned out to be I-CUE software.

    @Rokebo73 Yeah, I trying play. Since yesterday when I updated the drivers no was any problem. But still cant say is it fixed... sometimes it took longer than happen some error. So will be update later 🙂)

    @Rokebo73 After very long time here is my results. You high probly fixed my computer. I really not trust it on 100% but everything looks allright now. Now I have in PC back both memory modules and system and games are stable for few days. No more any crash or reboot whole PC. I think it was must be in the missing drivers. Is it really possible so huge troubles only by missing or old drivers? It really looks like we hit the target. Is it possible? I still cant believe it... 😃

    That's ridiculous though. No other company's games are anything like this picky for me. Only EA.  And I suspect the reason why is copy protection. They SCREW all of us who have the game legit to keep some small percentage from hacking it. And they probably don't even stop the hackers. They just screw those of us who buy (or in my case - pay for gamepass) 

    I avoid EA games like plague when possible.

    And when they CRASH my new Alienware Ryzen 7845/Nvidia 4080 laptop on startup, that isn't hardware for sure.

    How bad can a company be?
