BF2042 Crashing in game PS5

Hello,

I have just downloaded this game and started playing for the first time. I can join a game but about 10-20 seconds after joining it crashes, black screens and returns me to the main menu (no error code). Any ideas as to what the issues could be here?

Thanks

    Hi 0fh6y6goseew,

Since these are the English-speaking forums, you'll need to use that language while posting here, I'm afraid.

However, if you'd understandably prefer to speak your own language, you can select the "world" icon above and select Russian. That should take you to the right place.

  • Приветствую подскажи как решил данную проблему с вылетом из игры

  • It's the same for me. It crashes with error ce-108255-1 either before the end, in the rewards section or in new mathmaking. Also since the update.

  • I'm experiencing similar, only mine happens either just before end of match or, just in rewards section, only been happening since the Update, it shows on the PlayStation error, not in BF!🤯

    No worries,
I'd rather your game have an error than an unknown crash.
Are you connected by cable or Wi-Fi?

Thank you for your quick replySteeve_BF. Unfortunately this has not solved my problem and now I am getting error codes and getting disconnected from EA servers (see two images attached). This doesn’t happen in any other game and I hadn’t issues with the BF6 beta either.

  • Hi Wellsham32 ,
Have you tried to clear you playstation cache ? This often fixes crash issues.
Here are the steps to follow:

1- Hold the PS button on your controller.
2- From the Power menu, select Turn Off PS5.
3- Wait until the PS5 power indicator light shuts off.
4- Press and hold the power button on the console until you hear a second beep to enter Safe Mode. This should take about 7 seconds.
5- Connect your controller to the console using the USB cable
    6- Press the PS button.
7- Navigate to the Clear Cache and Rebuild Database option using your controller.
8- Select Clear System Software Cache.
    9- Select OK.
10- Wait for the console to restart on its own.
    11- Start Battlefield 2042

    Let me know 🙂
