BF2042 Crashing Mid game with no error.

For a couple months now, I have been playing Battlefield 2042 on and off and have been dealing with the same recurring issue which happens every game.

After dominating and top fragging for at least half of a game, I perform an action, such as opening Sundance's wingsuit, tossing a perfectly thrown cluster nade, or even opening fire on the 15 enemies that took 3 minutes to flank. After I try to do something as listed, my game freezes for a second and then crashes to the desktop with no error message attached. I believe origin may have given me a crash report one time previously and I believe that origin is the problem. I bought the game through Steam and I find it to be very inconvenient that it has to run thru origin aswell.

I have done some research on BF2042 crash reports already, but have found none of them to be helpful.

Hi @Trager420, could you try a new windows account with Admin powers and see if the same crash happens.

@Trager420 I have similar issues. After so many crashes, my Samsung 980 PRO PCIe ® NVMe 2TB, boot system became corrupted, and my computer was down a number of days trying to fix it with MS support. I was able to recover most of my files. I had reinstalled Windows 11 for the 2nd time in about 8 months or so, due to BF2042 frequent crashes.
Bottom line the Windows OS can only sustain so many sudden crashes, until it won't boot at all, so make sure you have a good backup. The EA
Game streaming system is unstable, and they don't know how to fix it yet. I have tried most of the possible solutions they offer thus far, such verify the game system files in Steam, and reinstalling it numerous times, and none of it works, in fact yesterday I verified files, played the game and it crashed again.

@Trager420 Game sucks, over 10+ lost connection cause of EA! Mad annoying and I’m tried of playing cheaters in the game and pay for everything. Need more fair games cause this sorry azz people want to * people off cause they cheat at the game

Also, the game often crashes and I'm back to the desktop without any error report.
Why can't I attach the associated CrashDump out of the following file path:
C:\Users\BiBa\OneDrive\Dokumente\Battlefield 2042\CrashDumps
I get: Unsupported extension type!
