BF2042 DirectX Error, Not launching

Hey guys.

I installed BF2042 because it was included in the gamepass, i heard a lot of bad stuff about the game but wanted to see for myself.

The experience so far has been very bad. I didnt even pass the "connecting to online services" screen without the game crashing.

The site crashes my browser whenever i tried to upload pictures, so i uploaded them on IMGUR: https://imgur.com/a/UXKlplB

Things i have tried:

-Uninstall / Reinstall the game, once on EA Launcher and once on steam, same error messages

-verify game files

-delete cache

-close all programs before launching

-turn off overclocking on GPU/CPU

-older graphics drivers/reinstall new graphics drivers

-update/reinstall Microsoft C++ and .net framework

-allocated more memory in advanced device settings

-install digital certificates

I spent over 10 hours trying to fix this. Please, help. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    @Siym No problem, then you know its 1 of those 2 that could cause issues !

    Hey Everyone thanks for the information so far...

    For anyone running into an error, can you try the following and let us know if the issue is resolved?

    • If you have Asus Armory crate or software similar uninstall and try to launch the game
    • Roll your Game Ready driver (or equivalent for other GPUs) back to the last stable version and try to launch BF2042
    • Run the System File Checker tool then Check for Windows and GPU updates  
    • Install/Repair your VC++ files for BF2042
    • Put your device in a Clean Boot then launch the game

    @Rokebo73I will check it when i get home.. have and will be gone for a few weeks, sorry for the late reply, just have been busy.
