BF2042 doesn't launch...

The game doesn't even launch anymore. If i click to open the game, it starts to launch it normally but in less than 5 seconds it just closes itself before it can even launch correctly. No error messages or anything. The usual steps have been taken care of: verifying gamefiles, re-installing the game, drivers have been checked etc. so the problem is not on my end. Also every other game I have have no issues. After the server issues on season 1 launch day I could play normally, but after the weekend I have been unable to even open the game...
