BF2042.exe memory corruption crashes

    Little update here: even if the stability test was ok, the issue seemed to be related to the XMP profile set on BIOS, as soon I've restored the default DDR timings memory corruption exceptions are gone. It's very strange because before the last update BF was able to run even with XMP settings like any other games.

      @-Mik3c-

      - Maybe try an update to a newer bios version like 1301 or even 1402
      - 4 times 16GB puts a lot of strain on the Integrated Memory Controller of your CPU, it could be that you need a small SA voltage bump to stabilize it again.
      - Is this a quad channel kit or did you add a 2nd kit ?

        Just updated the BIOS to the 1402; I've restored the XMP profile with the default timings and voltage settings ... later I'll try to make a test directly using the game. Memtest is ok with XMP turned on. In case of further crashes I'll try to tune the VCCSA voltage. Default XMP profile uses these:

        +12 V 12.000 V
        +3.3 V Standby 3.360 V
        VBAT Battery 3.184 V
        DIMM 1.344 V

        VCCIO2 1.168 V
        VCCSA 1.136 V
        GPU Core 0.756 V

        No I'm not using a quad channel kit, I've 2 16gb kit bought separately, so the memory controller is set in dual channel mode.
