@etnrl-kn8 Let us know how you do with testing different driver versions, if you keep having the issue despite further testing with other drivers please let us know so we can look into this further for you - 2 years ago
23.9.1 same
23.10.2 same
23.9.3 same
currenlty testing 23.7.2, if that doesnt help I'll update to latest.
I also changed these settings:
- run bf2042 as admin
- exclude bf2042.exe from antivirus (kaspersky)
- uninstalled all ASUS software (due to the gaming sdk service error, which still comes up at the event manager)
- disabled ASUS Aura at BIOS
- ran different ram test, Voltage to auto, synced and unsynced with no success
- iGPU was set to disabled, set BIOS GPU setting to only output at PCIe
- checking temps while gaming (70-80C CPU / 60C GPU, Cyberpunk2077)
- undervolt my gpu- used the default windows driver instead of AMD
- chkdsk on all my drives
- deleted all bf2042 files and clean reinstall (well, I'm about to rn)
- firmware update for the gpu (gigabyte control center)
- played on a lower res (1440x2160), lower graphic settings
- disabled all the fancy amd stuff (anti lag, sharpness, super resolution, chill etc) for the game
