BF2042 INVALIDARG Directx Error, Tried every fix I could find.

I'm new to forums, but I don't have anywhere to go. I'm getting the directx 12 error and I have tried every possible fix I have come across. I have forced to run dx12 in profile settings in documents, I have clean installed graphics drivers, I have the latest windows update 21h2 I believe its called. I have recovered the game on the ea app and reinstalled it entirely. I can't change the core voltage on my gpu for some reason its hard wired to not allow it. It happens everytime I boot up my game and I know it isnt a hardware being old issue as I have a rtx 3080, r9 5900x, b550 tomahawk motherboard, it is a brand new build and this problem only occurs with bf2042. I need help I'm at my wits end.
