BF2042 pre-load failing

Part of forum community reps roles is to provide accurate information to the community. 

Right now, there appears to be an issue with download server congestion. 
I've spoken to two EA Chat reps now who confirm this is not a support issue. 
My game key is active and registered to me. 
My account is active and in good standing. 

So, neither AHQ of EA support knows what's going on. 
That sounds like an issue...

Try running Origin as an administrator:

- Close the Origin client.

- Right-click the Origin client icon on your desktop (or in the Origin directory if not on your desktop) and click Run As Administrator.

Then try to download the game again.

I would try that other fix... but EA 'support' 'Helped me', and now the game isn't even on my account anymore. 
I'm supposed to check back in a few hours for it to 'sync'. 

Anyone wanna take bets I lose my pre-order bonuses?

I dont believe its an account issue since its very probably world wide problem...
ive checked BF2042 Discord and spent 5 mins here on Forums since i have the exact same issue and seems like majority of Origin/EA App users and some guys on Steam as well are having exact same issues..

So i dont believe at all its Account based issue or smth like that.. 

Well now it's an account issue... since EA support screwed up my account >.<

I'm on with my 4th rep trying to get this fixed. This is so stupid. 
All they had to say was, 'known issue', and give any reassurance they have a clue what's going on. 

Same pre load error and when I got it cancelled I am not able to pre order it from the EA app.

It is still showing me that "pre load". And now I am being asked to install Origin. Why should I install Origin when I got the EA app. 

Uff... that's a pretty sad solution tho, to pay twice. 😳
